The Bridge Dance Project will hopefully provide access to in-studio dance education for children of low income families in the Spring, Texas area while raising awareness of the financial barriers many children face in accessing ongoing quality dance education. The mission is to raise funds that will cover at least one semester or more of tuition at participating dance studios, allowing children who love dance to experience the high quality instruction and professional environment that they otherwise could not afford, and to raise awareness and inspire other young dancers to create initiatives of their own. Bridge Dance Project seeks to create a "bridge to dance," by making in-studio instruction accessible to students regardless of family income by acquiring donations from the community, partnering with local dance studios in the area, and inspiring/guiding younger generations to spearhead their own "bridges."

Hi! I'm Addison Ballard. I'm 16 years old and a Junior in high school. I have been a competitive dancer at Texas Academy of Dance Arts for close to 10 years and started Bridge Dance Project because I'm passionate about sharing my love of dance with underprivileged children. At home I have a 14 year-old sister, and 9 pets, 2 of which are the cutest pigs! At my high school I'm student council president, a peer tutor, and a member of both NHS and Spanish club. Outside of school I am in National Charity League and love to read and bake! Please donate and join me in my mission to cover tuition for a child that deserves to take dance in a studio setting!
